The details of the new Avenged Sevenfold disc have been unraveling bit by bit over the last few weeks with the title ‘Hail to the King’ and release date of Aug. 27 being revealed. Now the band is offering up even more with a 30-second clip of the title track.
It appears that the title track will be the first single from their album of the same name, as the song is set to hit radio, and the short clip gives fans yet another taste of what’s in store with the new disc.
‘Hail to the King’ will mark Avenged Sevenfold’s sixth studio album and follows up their 2010 disc ‘Nightmare.’ Both ‘Hail to the King’ and ‘Nightmare’ were produced by Mike Elizondo.
Leading up to the release of the new disc, Avenged Sevenfold are gearing up for a free concert at the Hollywood Palladium on Aug. 26. For fans not able to make the free show, the band also has a handful of festival dates scheduled including Rock USA Festival, Heavy MTL and the Aftershock Festival before spending much of November and early December on a European tour with Five Finger Death Punch. Click for the dates and locations of the European trek below below the clip.
